- Either sit on the toilet or lie sideways with legs folded towards your tummy.
- Remove the cap that’s covering the tube.
- Lubricate the nozzle for ease of use.
- Gently push the nozzle into your anal passage and squeeze all its contents.
- Don’t stop squeezing the tube as you remove it from the passage. This prevents the fluid from being sucked back into it as you pull it out.
- Be patient for 5 to 15 minutes as the laxative’s effects are felt.
- Finally, clean your hands for hygiene purposes. Do this after you’ve had a bowel movement.
